Gerald Ford Hospitalized
Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the United States, has been admitted to a California hospital for “unspecified tests,” according to CBS News.
Ford’s office in Rancho Mirage, California would only say that he would be released from the Eisenhower Medical Center after the tests are complete. A hospital spokeswoman read a statement from Ford‘s staff saying he’s been admitted for a “horrible cold”.
The 92-year-old Republican suffered a mild stroke in 2000, and has not spent much time in the public eye since then.
