Quake Rocks Afghan-Pakistan Border
The magnitude 6.7 quake was felt from the Afghan captial of Kabul through most of Pakistan. No deaths or injuries have been reported.
A magnitude 6.7 earthquake was felt in southern Afghanistan and northern Pakistan, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was about 160 miles northeast of Kabul, Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountains.
No deaths or injuries have been reported.
The quake also shook Pakistan’s capital of Islamabad and towns near the Indian border. The area was recently devastated by a magnitude 7.6 quake in October, killing 73,000.
