Robert Blake found liable for wife’s death
Actor Robert Blake, acquitted in March of murdering his wife, has been found liable for her killing in a wrongful death civil suit brought by her children. He has been ordered to pay $30 million in damages.
The 72-year-old turned visibly pale and seemed stunned as the verdict was read in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Burbank, capping an 11-week civil trial that stemmed from the 2001 shooting death of his spouse, Bonny Lee Bakley.
