Poll looks grim for Schwarzenegger
With a new statewide poll showing his four initiatives in danger of losing, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled a new television ad Thursday in which he admits he “had a lot to learn” but that “my heart is in this and I want to do right by you.”
The earnest-sounding appeal, coming as the poll shows Schwarzenegger’s two main proposals on state spending and redistricting well behind, tries “reminding voters about all the things they liked about Arnold in the first place,” campaign spokesman Todd Harris said.
