Airforce withdraws a rule permitting evangelizing
U.S. Air Force officials disclosed on Tuesday that they have withdrawn a code of ethics rule from use by its chaplain service that endorsed the practice of evangelizing military service members who are not affiliated with any specific religion. The move came in the wake of a lawsuit by a Jewish graduate of the Air Force Academy, Mike Weinstein, who said that senior officers and cadets illegally imposed Christianity on others at the school.
