Anna Nicole Appeals
Anna Nicole Smith, who lost in court in 1995 against her in-laws over her 89-year-old late husband’s $1.6 billion estate, has filed an appeal. She is seeking over $88 million from J. Howard Marshall’s estate.
The United States Supreme Court justices said they would review a federal appeals court ruling that overturned a decision in a Texas probate court in favor of Ms. Smith. The arguments will start in January, and is expected to last up to 6 months.
