All The President’s … Presidents
THE PRESIDENT: Good afternoon. Thanks for coming. I’m honored to be with former Presidents Bush and Clinton. Thank you all for being here. We just spent some time talking about the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. I brought them up to date on what I know about the latest developments there on the ground. We’re united in our sympathy; we’re united in our determination to help the good people that have been affected by this hurricane.
Three Presidents are now heading a fund-raising effort to help the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Definately needed, a Federal effort is already underway but judging from initial impressions of the disaster, it might be bigger than anticipated.
The death toll still climbs and in areas devastated by the hurricane, people are being told to ignore the dead and concentrate on the living.
Online, several blogging efforts and public company efforts have already started raising funds.
