Bush suggests alternate teachings
President Bush stated that the Theory of Intelligent Design should be taught taught in our public schools, alongside the Theory of Evolution, giving our children more than one side to consider. “Both sides ought to be properly taught . . . so people can understand what the debate is about,” he said.
The president’s comments flamed criticism from liberals, who disagree saying that there is no scientific evidence to support the Intelligent Design theory.
Imagine if he had used the word “Creation.”
