Evolution Incompatible with Catholicism?
A leading Cardinal, Christoph Schönborn, the Archbishop of Vienna has said that the neo-darwinism view on evolution might be incompatible with the dictates of the Catholic Church. Evolution might be the case, echoing Pope John Paul II’s statements in 1996, but the randomism suggested by Darwin might not be.
